3 May 2014 Las Vegas Precision Rifle Match **New location - heed instructions**

I've been at Nellis with my loaded concealed firearm and LEO ID, and in uniform as well. I was allowed. But that was three years ago. Have no idea what they are doing today.

I've been told I should buy QuickLoad. I've been on their web site. I may just get the program.

    Finding "Nodes" on your rifle

How do you guys go about finding the nodes on your rifle, and how do you adjust for them when reloading. I understand what a node is, but have no idea how to locate them.

Cleaning Brass: Sonic v Tumbler w/Stainless Stell Media

I've read several posts here on The Hide concerning this. The general consensus was stainless steel media does a far better job than sonic cleaning. But, does the stainless steel media have more abrasive qualities that will harm the brass..... I've been looking at this...

I just ordered the bushing FL die from Redding......I kind of hoped I would not need lots of bushings, but I am already thinking I know better.

    Frustrated!

I just purchased the Redding Type S FL die (77111) with a .245 bushing for my .223 loads. I measured the OD of the neck with a bullet in place, and came up with .246, so I subtracted .001 for the .245 bushing size. Hopefully this will work...I followed directions on Redding's web site...

    Should college athletes get paid?

You signed, and I'm sure gladly. Be thankful you were given the skills and perserverance to play at the high level you played at. Be especially thankful your parents didn't have to foot the bill for your education, R & B. Missing some social activities is a small price to pay for what you...

    Should college athletes get paid?

I know many D1 athletes going from high school to college. None of them have any problems accepting full rides to major D1 schools in exchange for playing sports. Most of these kids are going to schools they would have never been accepted to or couldn't afford the tuition/education. I've...

    Should college athletes get paid?

They should definitely be able to work, accept endorsements or simply let someone buy them dinner. Mark, what did you play and for whom?

    Should college athletes get paid?

They do get paid-----Free tuition with room & board in exchange for their playing skills. Some tuitions with room and board can easily reach 100k a year. Most kids would give their eye teeth to get college free, let alone acceptance to some of the finest universities. I went to Notre Dame...

Yes. Trophy-Hunter XP completey stock. The 55gr SP (Hornady) sits almost in the entire neck, and the Berger 70gr VLD is fine. But this 55gr Hornady B/T only sits .114 in the neck.

    What Bullet Seating Depth---Pics Enclosed

Both bullets shown in the pic are for a Savage .223 (.224 diameter). The bullet on the left & seated to the cannelure is approximately 0.193 from the lands. The bullet on the right that I slit at the neck to show seating depth is exactly on the lands. It is 0.114 into the neck. Now, I...

Advanced Marksmanship Determining range using MOA reticle?

This. If your scope is SFP, the MOA will ONLY be acurate for a specific magnification level......usually full power. So, at full power, which in your case is 9x, then each line will represent 2 MOA. However, if your magnification is set to let's say 3x, then the actual value of each line is...
