My experience from going to 20" SS from 16" CL was pretty much the same sub moa but gained the added velocity for the extra inches of barrel. The 16" CL is a good barrel just work up a load and get some trigger time its an easy sub moa shooter!
When I changed my 16" CL barrel to 20" SS it pretty much shot the same sub moa but because of the added 4" got a better velocity. One thing I noticed is my SS barrel cleaned up faster than my CL barrel did. Other than that its hard to beat the 16" CL for accuracy.
The label is the newer batches of XM118LR done by federal if you peel it off its ill stamped on the boxes. I have to say the newer batches has shot a lot better than the older batches did.
Have you tried looking at powder valley? I live in Hawaii and varget is hard to come by here but they had it in stock and shipped it here. Been also hearing good reviews on that 2000mr powder but can't find it here locally either.
I just realized you listed for a GAP 10. They use a POF chassis so the top rail sits a lilttle higher than a normal AR10 platform. What stock are you using? My friend with a POF had to use a PRS to get a proper cheek weld. Hope that helps
A buddy of mine ordered a Defiance action and had it made out to the templar specs. The thing is you just can't get a templar action with GAP's logo on it cause like said above its only used for their builds.
For me I shot my mws with the lmt 2stage trigger and then orders an Geissele SSA-E for it. Never really like the lmt trigger. The best runner up was a KAC 2stage trigger.
