    Re: Army M24 Build Thread I was able to get a M24 flash hider for 55 dollars shipped USPS. The only catch is i can't have the flash hider installed at the same time as the front sight. The flash hider has some what appears to be cosmoline or some protective oil on it.

    Re: Bedding Needed ???? I would not bed it yet. Fit the action in and shoot the gun. IF once you drop the stock in and the gun shoots the groups that you want then dont bed it...don't need to since its doing what you want it to. Plus you save like 150 to 200 dollars approx on a bedding job...

    Re: New scope? Fixed 10x should work great. Im a big fan of the fixed 10x. How much is your scope budget? On the low end as far as cost goes is the bushnell elite 3200 for approx 250 dollars. On the high end is the Schmidt and Bender around 1900 dollars. Heath

    Re: Remington 700 owners The extractor on the r700's i have owned all work like a charm. What i do is clean under the extractor like mentioned above where brass and so forth can collect under it but thats about all i do to mine and no problems.
