Accuracy International AW50 anyone?
Came close a few years back to getting AX50. I planned on shooting 460 Steyr with a 38in barrel. The main reason I didn't was the issues with the primers not being consistent.- GIXXER2000

338 Norma Magnum brass expected life
Kind of close 300nm Norma Brass. I shot it 8 times annealed every other firing. I cleaned it for the 9th and started to see case separation on about 20% so I chucked all 100 pieces just to be safe.- GIXXER2000

They could have gotten an AI- ASXR, DTA or even Barrett MRAD for cheaper and you can get replacement barrels. The SAKO M-10 is a great rifle BUT near zero support were as the AI and the other have gunsmith's able to spin up barrels. Which scope for 1000 yard rifle
I shoot ELR and run 3-27 on my .338LM and a 5-27 on my .375CT. You can use a lower magnification if you want but it's better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. At most matches I and usually about 21 to 25 power most of the time depends on mirage.- GIXXER2000
