    Re: LMT Enhanced Bolt Carrier I use one, no suppressor though. It is through and through LMT quality and I recommend it. Extra and repositioned gas ports (by the numbers) are intended to bleed off more gas out the side. I use it in a 16" mid length gas LMT barrel and it is without a hiccup...

    Re: What do I really lose by getting a DPMS 308L 24" gas guns are trying to be something they're not. Form follows function. If 'long range stuff' dictates that you NEED an extra 60-80fps more than you need the benefit of portability in hunting/ 3 gun then that is your deciding factor.

    Re: silliy to put a mildot scope on a 40x 22? Hardly. Expect about a 7 mil drop from a 50 yard zero. I use a SWFA 10xHD with great success on a 22LR.
