    You don't have a problem with that brass. I have about 80 pieces of .300 prc brass with a way deeper cam over pattern that i have loaded twice already with a serious load of 4831sc and 208 hybrids. No issue. Go to post #48 and see it for yourself.

    You keep your gun downrange while troubleshooting... no problem there. My suggestion is in light of the risk that someone without muzzle discipline could pose if they are trying to beat the clock with a hot gun.

    My experience as someone who shoots with a scratched chamber 300prc because of a dumb reloading mistake I think brass life will not be affected unless we are talking a deep deep gouge something over .01-.015" which i dont think that's your case. Bore scopes make stuff look way worse than it...
