    I have had the same problem but really like the superlative gas block,I have gone to ar stoners hand guards they are slim but there is a channel built on mine at 12:00 and 6:00 that give you plenty of room.

    I have the 556 and a 243 and would not hesitate to purchase another caliber. Mine shoot and function well and group 5 shot groups of my reloads at 1 moa consistently. BCA are cheaper price wise but shipping can be slow.

    I shot some awesome groups in my bergara HMR 6.5 crdmre. using Hornaday 120 gr with 42.3 of H4350. H 4350 is what I have found to produce best 5 shot groups. Reloader 17 was just about as good.
