Barrel nut (over) torque vs Accuracy

If you pull the barrel and lap and square the receiver face you should also thermofit the barrel to the receiver. Things you will need to thermofit are .001 or .002 shim stock, sharp scissors, rubber band and a heat gun or torch. Heat the receiver extension area and then quicky slide the...

Threadtite or not GEN3 Little Bastard

Took it out, shot 20 rounds through it to re-zero and bang some steel real quick. Was about .7 mils low compared to bare muzzle. The G3 LB was still tight after the 20 rounds. 3-5 rounds per mag. Not shooting super slow but taking the time for good shots (except when banging steel, always have...

Threadtite or not GEN3 Little Bastard

Hello, Question for those with experience with the Gen3 Little Bastard on their semis. Did you use the included threadtite on the barrel threads or did you just tighten it "just pass hand tight" with a wrench and call it good? My first time not using a jam nut etc with the muzzle device...

    Scope mount for semi-precision AR10

The Atlas your looking at is the same one I have. Great choice IMO. Especially if you want to be able to remove it quickly for whatever reason or use it on a different rifle. The LEAP looks cool for sure. Buy once cry once I suppose :). I sold 6 Vortex Viper PSTs to be able to afford my 2...

    Scope mount for semi-precision AR10

My go to bipod is the Atlas for medium-long range. Built rock solid, tons of accessories for them, may not be the lightest but you won't have to worry about breaking it either. They typically sell quickly on here in the for sale section and they hold their value well over time. I have 2, one is...

AADMOUNT was loose, figured it out

Its a Warne 56mm mount. Threw the Razor G2 4.5-27x I had purchased for it but just had not bother to put it on yet.

AADMOUNT was loose, figured it out

Figured it out, feeling stupid for the way I packed.... One of the rails must have got damaged slighly on the upper. I can't see any damage but it has to be there. One rail forward and one backward from the original position Aadmount and PST scope would lock up like it's intended, but in the...

AADMOUNT was loose, figured it out

@R.O.U.S. It has always been on the same JP rifle since I purchased it, that combo has consistently produced sub-moa results every time I have shot it before yesterday. I will reach out to Aadland if I don't get anybody who has experienced this same problem.

AADMOUNT was loose, figured it out

@lash the scope can move vertical and horizontally, it looks like the mount is also moving with it and the scope is not moving by itself inside the rings. All the screws are tighten to spec with my FAT wrench (double checked today) and I also checked it at the range yesterday by hand with a...

AADMOUNT was loose, figured it out

Hello Everyone! The other day I transported all my gear in the bed of my truck. I am assuming something got rattled loose. When we went to shoot my JP PSC-12 that has the AADMOUNT 1 piece scope mount and a Vortex PST 6-24 attached I couldn't hit a damn thing. Which is extremely uncharacteristic...

JPs new Semi-monolithic Small Frame SCI-20

Being a JP fanboy I read the bulletin every month it when it comes to my email. Last month they released their new ambi lower. But in the very beginning of the bulletin they made a typo. They mentioned a new Semi-monolithic upper, but had no details on it later in the bulletin. So being the...

LMT MARS lower and JP PSC-12 Knights/Armalight Upper Fitment

I had asked them the same question a few years ago and they didn't have an absolute confirmation, but got it should work but not guaranteed. Sounds like they test fit one since then. Thats awesome, thanks for the reply.

LMT MARS lower and JP PSC-12 Knights/Armalight Upper Fitment

I am curious if any of you have tried the fitment of a LMT MWS MARS Lower with a SR25/Knights JP PSC-12 upper? This is the JP upper I'm talking about. https://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPPSC12-URA

Will jp lrp fit a mars lower?

Buy once cry once. I have several JP rifles, some with a bunch of JP parts, one complete factory rifle. All are the best shooting most accurate rifles I have. Also JP parts and complete builds hold their value over time.

Will jp lrp fit a mars lower?

Also the JP LRP-07 lower is different than a regular DPMS pattern, it will only fit a LRP-07 upper because it doesnt have a rear charging handle. https://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPPSC12-URA That upper from JP should work on a SR-25 like your LMT lower.

AR10 not accurate - what to try next?

This is what I would suggest trying next. Shims are cheap ($20ish) and loctite 609 or 620 is even lesser expensive and a good adj gas block can be found for around $100. How familiar are you with shooting large frame ARs? Definitely requires really good technique to get good results as others...

    Semi-Auto 6.5 CM w/ $6K Budget

You can get the barrel out 2 ways with a thermofit receiver. Either super heat the receiver around the extension or get a 1" wooden dowel and use that to hammer it out. You could probably use a combo of both if need. The LRP-07 upper requires a shim to thermofit, the new LRI-20 upper which only...

    Semi-Auto 6.5 CM w/ $6K Budget

Get the new JP LRI20/LRP-07 upper lower combo, you get all the features of the LRP-07 but with JPs newest large frame upper. Look it up, JP will never disappoint.
