    I've tried HBN coating my A-max's. That helped some, had to reduce the load also and that helped a lot. They group real nice but the velocity isnt what you'd hope to get out of a 6mmAI. The DTACs hold together just fine.

    Got my own update. Just got off the phone with them, now prediction is that the DTACs will be available for order in "January or February".... the wait continues......

    Thanks for the intel. I guess they have my number screened because I couldn't get a hold of them. Looking forward to shooting them again. 105 amax are very accurate in my gun....right up till the start failing... I've got a lower pressure recipe now but still like the DTACs better.

    Definitely cleaning the dies can be a big help. I try to clean mine every 5 batches of reloads. Amazing how much crud you find up in there.

    Hard to say what one should or shouldn't do in reloading. Only one thing for sure, extra precaution never hurts as bad as a gun blowing up in your hand.

    Yep, the 175 SMK always did good at the 600 yard line for me. Then one day for less $$ I decided to try the 168 Amax. Tad more drop but couldn't tell any difference in scores.
