What do you have your sight height set at on the DTA? Should be about 2.63". That is the first thing that pops into my head when your shorter range dope doesn't line up. Ty

Wow, that is strange. Do you have a set of micrometers? Measure the rings and the inserts. That's all I got..... Ty

Orkan, I don't know how many of your posts I have read, and learned from but it is a lot. I don't know when you you put the new clickable banner in the bottom of your posts, but for the first time I clicked it and visited your sight. Very nice work man! Quality store and great articles...

+1 to Orkan's post. Sounds like you certainly know what you need. Unfortunately I have no help to offer. Ty

Bigsur, First thing is first. Congrats and welcome to the community! Next thing, the DTA is not a traditional Bolt rifle with a drop comb stock which requires .8-1.1"ish rings. Rather it is a flat top design like an AR. That is the reason that it runs 1.5"ish ring/mount. Also, you say that...

We have done 2 6.5 SAUM barrels for the DTA so far. Goatsie, and propulsionclimbing. I know that propulsion is running 308 magazines with the feed lips slightly bent. He claims excellent feeding. I am going to ask him to post up some pictures of his mag, and am curious if he can still run 308...

Hard to argue this, but don't you feel that the SRS is superior in positional and barricade stages? I feel like everyone can shoot prone. Positional, movement and barricades is where the money is made. I admit that changing mags sucks, but its rare that the clock beats me before I get all my...

    Review: Barnes Match Burner

Peace-I am unsure about the 85's in 223. I'll play with them as soon as I can get my hands on some. For the BC, Barnes published G1 is .586. We have run them out to 1000 yards. Seems pretty damn close. These bullets are the real deal, and much cheaper than the competition. As far as the Red...

    Review: Barnes Match Burner

Who? If you are a hunter, or have ever been exposed to hunting, Barnes Bullets needs no introduction. If you are a bench rest or a long range precision shooter, you may have seen Barnes bullets but have never considered them because they are a "hunting bullet". Well, here are the facts. Barnes...

Good question. Depends. If you are by yourself, or with a group of shooters who ALL have cans, then suppressor is the ticket. If one guy doesn't have a can, it ruins it. If you are hunting, suppressor. If you are shooting in any situation where time of flight is short, and your target...

Again, respectfully I disagree. When I shot the PRS finale this year they had all 50 of us "pro's" fill out a long sheet concerning every aspect of our gear. Below is a link to the article concerning just this topic. As you will see 31 of the 50 of us shooters used brakes, 13 used cans, and 5...

Respectfully, I disagree. I have both suppressors and brakes. Brakes work 2 X better on recoil management than suppressors. I use brakes on every caliber including my 6mms and 5.56 in 3 gun. I am not recoil sensitive, but in comps, if you are going to put 4 rounds down range in very limited time...

I was told that I was going to get one shortly before the release to run it though its paces. That estimate was April. I am really looking forward to it. The MDR is amazing, but I'm a bolt gun shooter. I think this chassis with the monopod will be a sweeping success. Ty
