Rifle Scopes Choice for precision AND 3 gun......on a budget?

Another option if you choose to go the 2.5-10 range is to just run a set of 45 degree iron sights like the ones from Dueck Defense : RTS Offset Gun Sight for Military & LE Tactical And 3 Gun Competition Gun Sight System. This will keep you from being bumped into the "Open" division, while still...

    White Oak Armament AR barrels

I had a 20" varmint 1:7 and it shot very well with 77gr SMKs. Would have kept it but I needed to sell it to fund a 3gun build.

**2014 JC Steel Target Challenge, Sponsored by Seekins Precision

Bryan, I heard he wasn't tall enough to mount the platform......hence only being able to touch with said big toe while standing on his head.....very ninja-ish

**2014 JC Steel Target Challenge, Sponsored by Seekins Precision

That stage ended up getting thrown out, so it didn't cost you anything at least:) I'll just say a quick thanks to Jake and all the ROs for hard work they put in to make this match happen. Another thanks needs to go out to all the sponsors, and hopefully Jake or someone can get a list up so we...

Putting a Harris on a rail/keymod (and not spending a lot of $)

I'd also take a look at the Odin Works low profile bipod adapters. https://www.odinworks.com/ODIN_Works_S_Pod_p/acc-s-pod.htm Edit.....Looks like you found what you were looking for, but I will leave this up for anyone else looking for adapters.

Can't say last year had any real gimmies......25mph wind and moa targets don't classify as "gimmies" :)

Seekins upper / lower whos running them?

We've built a pile of ARs on the Seekins billet lowers/uppers. Definitely my favorite combo to build off of. The issue with the PMAGs has been real hit and miss due to the variance in the mags, but if you have an issue, the boys at Seekins will take care of you.

    Suppressors SWR 7.62 specwar

The brake is extremely effective on its own. I tested it out on my 7wsm and was very pleased as it took pretty much all the recoil away. If you're going to get the Specwar, then get the brake to go with it. You're not going to gain any advantage running the APA brake.

    Suppressors SWR 7.62 specwar

The Specwar holds up fine in terms of accuracy. I've had it on a few different sub 1/2moa guns and they maintain that accuracy with the can on. I've also witnessed James and the other SWR guys shooting them at the PRS events and they are certainly not keeping them from hitting their fair share...

Rifle Scopes Review of Desert Tech's AMR reticle in Kahles K624i

Can't give you a total number, but the one I mounted up had around 18 mil left from a 100 yd zero on a 20moa base. Same gun, same zero, has my NXS about 25moa off the bottom if that helps.

Suppressors SWR Specwar 7.62 Vs. ThunderBeast 30p-1 (Input Wanted)

OK, so I was finally able to get some range time with both the 30PS and the Specwar 7.62. From what I can tell, both cans are equally accurate and repeatable. Obviously the 30PS wins in the weight and size department, however that also makes it noticeably louder. Both of these suppressors have...

Sidearms & Scatterguns STI experiences/opinions wanted

Here's a little food for thought on the tactical models. The 4" Tactical has the same stroke as the 5" model so it actually shoots like a 5", but in a smaller overall package with a slightly shorter sight radius. For an all around gun, the 4" tactical is the way to go in my opinion.

Rifle Scopes S&B H2CMR and Kahles AMR.....need opinions.

If you like the idea of the tree style reticles, then definitely go with the AMR in the Kahles over the H2CMR. I'm not sure I'd run it, just because I don't really care for the tree, but it seemed pretty well thought and usable. As far as the Kahles scope goes, they are good to go and on par...

Sidearms & Scatterguns STI experiences/opinions wanted

I wouldn't say there are any drawbacks to the polymer frame or Sti in general. All of mine are very reliable and extremely accurate. As stated above though, some of the single stack 9mm well have trouble feeding certain hollow points Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

    Perfect Rifle For PRS

I'm betting most of the chassis systems hold the mag too low. They will work fine with an AI mag as the mag height is not as critical, but are probably just barely catching the rim of the cartridge with an AW. If it's just barely catching the rim, then any deformation of the feed lip or...

    Perfect Rifle For PRS

What you've got there sounds just fine. I wouldn't worry about the weight of the chassis system if you already have it and it's comfortable to you.

    Perfect Rifle For PRS

No, I'm not saying I have never heard of issues with people running the AW mags. We have had a bunch come in the shop that were not set up correctly, but left working just fine. The main cause of rounds popping out the top (from what I've seen) comes from people opening up the feed lips too...

    Perfect Rifle For PRS

Again, nobody is personally attacking you. The statement you made was "Don't use AW mags, they don't work in a competition rifle for shit... ever" which is false because there's plenty of folks using them with great success. Just because you have not had any luck with them doesn't mean others...
