    Perfect Rifle For PRS

Dang dude, relax, I wasn't attacking you. I'm merely pointing out a false statement. Ignorance is just the lack of understanding or knowledge, which is a true statement if you can't get AW mags to work.

    Perfect Rifle For PRS

Like I said, I respect your opinion, but the blanket statement you made is incorrect. When set up properly, AW mags work just fine. I can back that up with a heck of a lot more than 4 rifles that can and do work with both AI and AW mags flawlessly. It takes a little extra attention to detail...

    Perfect Rifle For PRS

Frank, I respect you and your opinions but making a blanket statement like that is just BS and borderline ignorant. AW mags can and do work just fine in a competition rifle.

Suppressors SWR Specwar 7.62 Vs. ThunderBeast 30p-1 (Input Wanted)

Guys, I'll get to this eventually. Been busy busy busy trying to get things done around the house and getting a new business off the ground. My apologies for the delays, I haven't had time to scratch my a$$, let alone do any testing! ETA....I shot the PRS finale with the 30PS on my 6x47 and...

Suppressors SWR Specwar 7.62 Vs. ThunderBeast 30p-1 (Input Wanted)

I've got both a Specwar and a 30PS, just haven't had time to do a direct side by side comparison. After I return from the PRS Finale, I'll try to do a side by side comparison and report back.

Rifle Scopes Reticle pictures - S&B H2CMR and Hensoldt NH1

It's a very simple to use reticle, that's why. Most people dial elevation and hold windage, so the .2mil holds work really slick. It's not overly cluttered, yet still has more than enough breakdown to mil targets.

    6 mm BR Set-Up

Probably get a lot more 6BR information if you go here......SHOOTERS' FORUM - Index Get some Lapua 6BR brass, some form of 6BR dies, some Varget, CCI450 primers, and a 95-107gr bullet and have at it. It's a very easy cartridge to load for.

    Hunting rifle build conundrum

Use your 6.5 blank (if it's an 8 twist) and the long action to make a 6.5-06AI. 140s cruising along at 3100fps+ will do nicely for your needs. The Manners EH1 will do nicely as well.

Rifle Scopes TPS Rings vs Seekins - First Impression.

OP, have you tried to contact Seekins about the finish of the rings you received? Give Glen or Shiloah a call at the office and see what they have to say. It could be that you got a set that made it past inspection with a bad finish.....stuff like that happens occasionally. As far as quality...

    3 Gun Barrel Length

16" with midlength gas will be quick and handy making for slightly quicker transitions. I personally went with a lightweight 18" rifle length gas though and have no complaints with it as it's very soft shooting and very accurate. The 18" will give you a slight, if any, advantage at some of the...

    Tactical Matches and travel

Pretty much what Here2Learn said. Gun, mags, suppressor, bipod in a Pelican/Storm case and everything else in a checked bag with my clothes. Most airlines have an 11lb limit on ammo, but I'm really not sure they even check.

6.5x47 Muzzle Brake or No Muzzle Brake?

If you're always shooting from a solid flat prone position then no brake needed. The brake comes in handy though when shooting from unconventional positions and off of props such as barricades, walls and swinging platforms.

Best Powder for 6.5x47? Cant find 4350 or Varget

Out of those choices, I'd go with Reloder 17 first, then maybe Reloder 15 as a last option. If you're shooting 140s, try some Ramshot Hunter if you can get your hands on it as well.
