Night Vision Snipers Hide Cup Night Stage Video

Thanks for everyone that helped put this on. I felt pretty good about being the first one to clean it, but knew that I left some time on the table making sure I got the 600yd target. Congrats to the winner, it wasn't easy shooting with an unfamiliar platform like that!

Rifle Scopes Premier, S&B, Kahles or March?...

Ken, it was good to meet you at the Hide Cup this weekend. Is there a drawing out there anywhere for the MSRII reticle? Other than the floating dot, which is cool, what do you mean by "relieved subtention"?

Rifle Scopes ATACR vs S&B PMII 5-25

So not actually having one to play with, I should probably stay out of it. That would suck if you had to have a 1k+ zero just to get the max elevation out of the scope. How far, if any, can you dial down from your zero if you had to do it that way?

Rifle Scopes ATACR vs S&B PMII 5-25

You're correct for the MIL versions. However, the MOA version of the PMII only has 56 moa of adjustment for some reason, so in fact the ATACR does have twice the amount of travel.

Check out the Mascot Lerida pants from Repcon NW. They're not camo, but are very comfortable and durable. MASCOT® *Lerida* with Kevlar® Knee Pad Pockets

    Binoculars/ The Snipers choice

I have a pair of the Vortex 10x50 R/T that are for sale if anyone is looking for a set. They are a really good optic with good glass and the reticle seems pretty useful. I'd keep them if I didn't need another scope so bad.

    Ramshot TAC in .223Rem

26.5g with either a 53gr vmax or 55gr vmax works pretty well with a CCI 41

Best / most preferred .308 factory ammo?

    I don't always shoot a .308, but when I do it's with Hornady Match 168 Amax.....

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

Alright damnit.....I normally don't post up group pics, but here you go. This was with the old lot of bullets I had that were running around 3000fps.

    .338 300gr SMKS - MOA vs. Range?

I can't speak for anything about the guns in question, but in my experience with the 300smk and a .338Edge, it shoots just as good at 100yds as it does anywhere else.

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

I'm not sure what vintage the tester box I had was. It was purchased around the first of the year, but could have been some old stock. I think I may try some 105 Amax next or just open up the chamber with a little more freebore.

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

Looks pretty much like every other AR15 on the planet....just has a bigger hole in the barrel.

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

I don't know wtf is going on with them, but I know they are a bunch different than the ones I did load development with. I sent off a message to Hornady so I'll see what they have to say. They have to be seated about .070 deeper than the 95smk to get the same OAL to the ogive per my comparator.

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

I was planning on using my BRX at the JC Steel Challenge last weekend, but ran into a little snag with the new batch of Hornady 105s I received last Monday. They were considerably different shaped and thus completely threw off my whole load I had been running. Time to start over with these new...

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

Re: 6mmBR AR15 is alive !! We're running 22" barrels, but I think you'd be pretty safe with anything in the 20-24" length depending on what you're building the rifle for. I just got a new stash of N550 and Hornady 105s so I can finally get some ammo loaded up for the match this weekend. Still...

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

Re: 6mmBR AR15 is alive !! I'm sure that Varget would probably work out alright, I just haven't shot much of it other than in my fireform loads. I keep meaning to try some in a formed case with a 105 and see what happens. That will have to wait until my next batch of bullets shows up though!

GAP-10 Match Rifle Idea!!!! 6mm Creedmoor

Re: GAP-10 Match Rifle Idea!!!! 6mm Creedmoor Guessing you'll find the Hornady's will shoot better out of the gas gun as they seem to be less finicky about seating depth. That's what I've found with my BRX at least.

    6mmBR AR15 is alive !!

Re: 6mmBR AR15 is alive !! The 15 round 6.8 mags we have will only fit around 7 before bulging without modification. After some tweaking they will fit 10. Each one is a little different and it's a bit of trial and error due to slight differences/tolerances in the lowers and mags.
