    A nice, not too hot load for this combo is around 41.0-41.4 of RL-16 with your other components. I wouldn't try to push it much faster as RL-16 seems to be a bit more temp sensitive than the usual H4350. Clean your barrel often, and check that carbon ring that forms much easier with this...

    You should anneal. If you don't have an annealer, I could anneal them for you on an AMP, or there are others here that will do it for you also.

    My MRAD 338LM barrel has over 3000 rounds through it and still printing sub-half groups and .4 all the way out to 1000. Barrel looks like crap and is heat-checked like crazy, but it still has life in it. Factory Barrett barrel and been very happy with it.

    The entire thing is hewn out of a giant ass piece of steel... Like they said, there is no chassis. The barrel is attached to a brick, which houses the trigger and bolt, with some rods coming out of it for a stock, and some angle iron for a tripod.

    JP Enterprises High Pressure Bolt is what you want. Will work even with that Small Primer ammo without cratering. Can stick it in a JP carrier or someone else's, however make sure you get the small firing pin along with it.

    Agreed. I have peace of mind that my brass hardness will be perfect every time, as the hard work was already done for me in a lab. I had a Giraud that I converted to induction years ago, but I still had that nagging feeling in the back of my mind.....is it annealed? Is it cooked? Who knows...

    I know it's off-topic, but what marker do you use for those rounds? Looks great. My sharpies don't come out as opaque and I like that green color.
