    As mentioned above, the whole light is reversible for left/right so whatever they used on the head also had to be used on the tail. The body will be flipped 180* and the head/tail swap positions. Another way of looking at their attachment method: no worries of cross threading fine aluminum threads.

    I think in this case the green laser is also more powerful. I need to look again but pretty sure the green visible is something like 18-20mw and the red is just low power like any cheap laser.
