    “Non Surefire” Weapon Lights

    You and me both. I had an OWL for a while. The light output was incredible and I liked the warm color. Didn't care for the form factor. I'll wait as long as I need to for the REIN. I have no doubt the Modlight is as good or better but I don't care for the harsh output. -Dan

    Mauser M18?

    Haha. Mine was $399 but I bought it for the 50% off Minox certificate, which ended up costing me a lot more. I cut my 6.5 down to 16". That's about the longest you can go and still have a good shoulder to thread 5/8x24. It's pretty handy.

    I'm a poors so I just have a T4. It will get a dull hatchet shaving sharp in a couple minutes. They are around $400 but remember there are people paying more than that for non-motorized systems and sharpening knives like a cave man.

    Mine cost about $2200. I like the bolt throw and the trigger isn't bad. It seems to be 75% of what a Tikka is. The stock is pretty bad. Remington 700/Savage bad. Lots of flex, soft plastic. Does not compare to a Tikka plastic stock. The way I'd rate it based on owning cheaper *economy* rifles...

    I think I remember him saying it would probably be fine but would most likely be a push feed due to the geometry of the bolt head vs 223 case head. Can you confirm if yours is capturing the round or is it acting as a push feed?

    I love my CMMG RDB set up. I run a can that's made from all Super Precision Concepts parts. If you are wanting all Ti, have a look at them. I went with 1.75"x7" primarily for use on an AR10 but bored .420 for use on 9mm as well. It's quiet and only about 15 oz.
