    Re: Enco lathes? The turn-pro model is the best they make in enco. Have used one with aftermarket bearings in headstock. It will cut chambers with correct set up of lath and barrel to .0002 or better also it would cut what the dial reads. Hope this will help you.

    Re: Rem 700 Cocking Piece Broke Install a new cocking piece on the firing pin,with the spring off. Then drop it into the bolt body, you should have clearance between the cut out and the cocking piece, if not this is what caused it to fail.

    Surgeon Rifles has a new long Magnum action based off of their model 591 short action. Lug and rail are one piece as with all of there tactical actions. Fits a rem. stock with a few mods.

    Re: stock texturizing You can use a sherman williams product called polane. Mix with no thinner, low air pres. and it will give you the finish you are looking for. Then use fine glass beads with the same paint add thinner and spray, this will give you some bite.

    Re: McMillan fiberglass patch kit questions I think it is 7 to 1 by weight. The heaver of the two would be one and the lighter would be 7. For minor fill use the fiber dust. For large breaks use the long fiber. Mix colors slow because it will be to dark. P.S. mix fiber about like tooth...
