Precision Rifle Gear Cut foam in hard case with rifle scope up?

I’ve used the hot wire, carving knife, serrated knife, etc. i keep going back to my outdoor edge skinning knife with 3.5” blade. Basically a 3.5” razor blade. Cuts straight and has been the easiest for me to use accurately. Could also use the snap-off style razor blade With the plastidip, i...

    Thoughts on my Dope Card?

Ditch the inch column. Ditch the hundredths digit. Does your scope dial for hundredths of a mil? I put the caliber, the ammo, and the MV at the bottom of mine because I also keep dope cards in my pack and I don’t want any question about which rifle it’s for (I usually don’t tape them on my...

A ctr in a bravo chassis is a hell of a rifle. I have a TacA1 but my favorite rifle is my 24” 223 ctr in a manners eh1tk. You can’t go wrong with a tikka

I have both. No difference. Every CTR i’ve shot has been awesome. You're gonna lose about 100+fps compared to the 24”. If i was in the market again, I’d be getting the longer barrel. Also, the finish on the ‘standard’ CTR is not blued, like on the Lite models. It’s a matte sprayed-on...

Gunsmithing Well it’s stuck in the bedding

Bummer. The freezer might work. I would leave it permanently glued in, before I would cut a manners stock off. It’s stuck, but it’s still doing what it’s supposed to. The barrel tape might be a pain in the ass if you go that route hopefully, you can get it off.

Seems like it, but no, they are glued shut on the Tac A1. The pain in the ass really occurs when a screw comes loose, making the stock wobbly, and it’s only able to be accessed from behind the hinged part.….fuckin sucked. They aren’t meant to come apart and Tikka wanted me to send the rifle...

Someone will probably correct me, but I think the ‘JRT’ models are the ones we can get in the US. It might not be available in gun stores because it’s rarely imported or something. Like the CTR’s in 223 isn’t the guarantee 1 MOA for 5 shots in your SV? it would take a lot of money for me to...

Just Scored an Accuracy International AE MK III for $4500 - Need Suggestions for Next Steps

Don’t use a bore snake on that $7k rifle get a bore guide, patches, jag, and brushes. I use a relatively inexpensive dewey cleaning rod. You don’t have to clean often, but when you do, you want to do it right. Also, you don’t need an expensive bore guide. Im sure that AI guide is nice, but...

    Maggie’s The Wood Shop

Fuckin hell…..Circular saw. Happened Jan 22. 3 surgeries. Fused it first, then the bone got infected and I lost the tip anyways. **Word of advice, if you do this, don’t fuse it. Just have them take it off. Being fused straight in that knuckle for the rest of my life would have been awful...
