    It is not treated like all other firearms sales and will not be under this change. Where did you get that impression? See what I posted above. That’s the reality, or would be in January 2026 when this takes effect. Edit: I see that you saw it on Fox. They are wrong.

    Nothing has changed with the passage of the bill except for the amount of the tax. It was/is $200 per item, but is now $0. ALL other requirements for Suppressors and SBRs remain the same. You still have to file a Form 4 with fingerprints and etc like before. That’s it. No other change.

    Fair enough. I see the exemption for GCA and NFA registered manufacturers. All others pay a tax…at this time.
