    Yes, it's amazing to me how much bad .223 vs 5.56 info is still out there. That 50g AE ammo is pretty hot, stated 3350fps (presumably a 20" test barrel), I'll have to test it to see what it actually does out of my 24".

    And I've got a 24" target crowned Les Baer that will do even better than that, approaching 1/2 MOA. Everything is better now. Better bullets, better powders, machining, optics, tolerances, it's a golden age.

    Had a good load for 105 Bergers and RL16, but was able to score 2700 109's before things got crazy. Have always had best ES and SD's near max so we'll see. Called the Berger tech line and they gave me a 35.7g max load, so loaded up 5 shots of each from 35.7 to 34.1. We'll see where the node...

    Hornady 6.5CM factory 147 eld match

    I have a T3x CTR and it too must have a very long throat. When I measure from jamb, (using the Erik Cortina method), it is substantially longer than factory loaded 147g ELD-M's. Working up loads now, so don't know exactly how far off I'll end up. Did Tikka ever respond?

    Range Report Berger 130 grain 6.5 Creedmoor Loaded Ammo

    I got 2813fps (7 shot string), 12SD and 19fps ES, from a 24" Krieger 1:8 barrel with the Berger factory 130's. I bought it mostly for the brass, but as a loaded cartridge it shot as good or better than the Hornady 147 ELD's or the 140g AMAX I started with.

    This is the results of my little test. AR15 20" Ballistic Advantage 1:7 barrel. 100 yards, 59*, 1221' DA. Off a concrete bench, little to no wind, bipod and rear bag. As you can see, most of this ammo was .223 and shooting out of a 5.56 chamber so you can read into that as you wish. Anyway...

    How accurate have SP10 been out of the box?

    I've been eyeing a good 6.5CM gas gun and the Seekins checks near all the boxes for me. Timmney, flat-bottomed handguard, billet receivers, good brake, etc. A proof Carbon barrel and maybe a Surpurlative Arms gas block if the factory barrel ever gets shot out.
