I'm waiting for my AT-X to come, can I just develop a load for a barrel in my AT and then be good to go in the AT-X? I assume that the barrel harmonics are the major...

    I had a Howa in one, my only complaint was the bore was lower than the top of the butt pad so you couldn't run a cleaning rod through it in the chassis :(.

    The LRHS 3-12x44 Ahead of the Market.

    I have 2 of 3-12 and 2 of 4.5-18, all on hunting rifles. I think the 4.5s are a little too high power for hunting if something pops up close, but the 3-12s are great!! Like others have said, there's really not much else that's like them out there, surprisingly.

    Do you need to adjust the lips for the PRC?? Just getting a Tikka rebarrelled in 6.5PRC and can't find any mags locally (Australia), but I have heaps of standard length MDT mags.

    I sent my SN3 back from to the factory from Australia a few years ago. At the time USO said their products weren't subject to ITAR and there was no issues sending it back. Things might have changed now though....

    I think you'll find the Howa 1500 is a loose copy of the old L579 Sako rather than a cross between Remington/Winchesters etc.... They have been marketed here in Australia for probably 30-40 years under various names, even Smith and Wesson sold them as a model 1500 many years ago and of course...

    Gray wolf, I was referring to an Atacr on a Finnwolf, but yes you are correct, the Optilocks aren't featherweight either. I have an NXS2.5-10x24 on my Black Bear and I reckon that's boderline too big.

    Firstly, way to unbalance a beautiful light weight rifle..... Secondly, I think Sako make 34mm Optilocks, I've seen them for sale.
