    KRG Bravo Chassis

Is there a reason to cut out the cheek piece fir a Tikka? Aren't I just saving wear on the bolt stop by using the cheek piece as a bolt stop, or does anyone think I might damage the cocking indicator if I run it too hard? I've has zero issues after running 150rds through it hard without a cut-out.

I used 5/16" fuel line cut to the right height, stays there perfectly and brings it back to the same height every time.

    Next cartridge to try?

.284?, good long range performance and a good payload out there. Standard .308 boltface. Put a long heavy barrel on it to reduce the recoil, or a brake.

Why are AI prefit barrels more than tikka, rpr?

Why are AI prefit barrels more than tikka, rpr?

Sorry guys, but if you're asking the question, you really don't understand the mechanics....... The other profit barrels aren't heads paced until you fit them to the action, put in a go and no go gauge and set the barrel nut. They are NOT headspaced by the barrel manufacturer and therefore not...

Who has custom 243 bolt guns??

More a "semi-custom", a Rem 700 VLS with the barrel cut down to 19" in a B&C M40 stock with some texture added and sprayed in Krylon. Just for kicks, really!

Thoughts On 300 Blk Out Rem 700 For My Daughter

I hunts pigs and goats here in Aus with a Sako Black Bear in .308, and I don't feel the need to use 150gn loads, so just use Nosler 125gn BTs with a mid-range powder load (I use ADI 2208, which is the same as your H4350), which brings the recoil down to "much-more-bearable" levels and the goats...

Just Hear Me Out, Ideas/Opinions Welcome.

Feeding may be the problem! I live in Australia where we can't have semis, so bolts are the only option (apart from some guys doing interesting things with Remington 7615s.....) I have 3 x 6.8 SPCs, a factory Remington 700 that refuses to reliably feed, but was improved by going to a Wyatt DBM...
