    WTH?? Was this a cost-cutting measure or something? The KMW hardware is a MUCH more refined way to handle things IMO, and it’s ambidextrous. The spacer cheek piece doesn’t look like it’s very off-hand friendly, though I guess most don’t shoot off-hand hardly at all unless a stage calls for it. 🤷‍♂️

    They should have just updated the tooling for the 527/550 lines IMO. I have little to no interest in the 557 or the 600 series. The 452/455/457 continue to be gems, and most of their pistols remain solid as well. But yeah, they effed themselves over with their centerfire bolt action “updates.”

    There used to be one, made by Triggers by Scar, but he quit in ‘22. I was on the waiting list even, but e decided he was done. :( Other than that, I’m not aware of any. A real shame, I MUCH prefer a 2-stage if I can get one.

    I’m sure it is, which is why I was wondering what the drawbacks to it were lol. There are gobs of great aluminum-framed pistols out there that run for thousands and thousands of rounds. Unless you want as much weight as you can get to soak up recoil, I can’t think of a lot of negatives to it...

    What’s wrong with aluminum frames? Properly maintained (regular spring changes, etc.), they should outlast you, if not your children and grand children.
