Wow! I had not seen this post. I just picked up a GS2 pack in mid January, 2014, and have not used it yet. I now will be testing it with my 700 frame rifles and AR platforms. I also purchased my pack from Ceylon.
Even though we were not told, it's kind of a good thing, because who ever did it did not get the media coverage they had hoped for. Terrorist love to panic people with mass media coverage of the damage they inflict! Also, it did not give the anti gun people more ammunition to use against us...
I will give the Norma brass a try when it gets here. If I understand correctly, all I have to do is run 6.5 Creedmoor brass through my Hornady 6 Creedmoor FL sizing die and I am good to go, or am I missing a step or two?
Irokcrawl, I am having the exact same problem as you're having with your 6 Creedmoor brass primer pockets. I was shooting 42 grains of H-4350 @ 3168 fps and my brass was only lasting 1-2 firings. However, the load is extremely accurate! I have since dropped my load to 40.2 of H-4350 @3045...
I was able to develop a load for the 6 Creed using H-4831sc, which was not bad at all, just a hair slower, but still shot very good. However, my go to powder is still H-4350.
Great groups @ 300 Gorski!
