    Problem with LC 30-06 Brass

That could be. I'm using a standard die. I'll have to look into the length after work this evening.

    Problem with LC 30-06 Brass

75 and once fired I'm assuming. It still had the red seal around the primer. I should mention that I'm only using Hornady One-Shot case lube, same amount on both brands.

    Problem with LC 30-06 Brass

I'm using an RCBS full length die that's giving me problems resizing LC brass. It works perfectly fine with Winchester and other brands but with LC brass the shoulder is pushed further back. I'm assuming because of the extra thickness. Is there a die that's better suited for military brass? Pic...

    SPF 870 Youth

I have a barely used Remington 870 youth model in 20 gauge with synthetic stock and removable choke. Barrel, receiver, and magazine tube have been coated olive drab with KG Gun Kote. Barrel is 18"; shoots 2 /34 or 3" shells. I bought this new for my wife about 10 years ago. She shot it one time...

Searching for a USMC 03 Sight Cover

These are pictures of Bill Bentz's aftermarket sight cover. The original design is pretty common but obscures the sight picture. I have to take mine off to shoot. The USMC developed a larger cover that should allow the shooter to still see the target with the cover on.

Searching for a USMC 03 Sight Cover

Anyone know where to find an over-sized USMC style sight cover for a 1903? I tried ordering one from Numrich but they sent me a standard size. Thanks

    CMP M1

Thanks. I can't say for certain if it's a true sub moa gun. I only put about 40 rounds through it. At 100 groups were closer to 3 or 4 moa but at 200 and 300 yards I had a few sub moa groups on steel. Either way it's definitely a keeper.

    CMP M1

I was inspired to finally buy a service grade M1 Garand from CMP by a thread on here last month. It showed up last week and I sure lucked out with a Springfield made in January of 45. All parts are period correct SA except for the op rod and barrel. Barrel is November of 63 and the tag said the...

    Pre-64 Short Action Question

I bought a Winchester Pre 64 that was re-chambered in .308. The rifle has the standard long action magazine box but has the short action bolt stop and ejector. If I want to use the clip slot to feed would I only need to replace the bolt stop and extractor or do I also need to change the...

What do I have here? Warning to Collectors

Looks like it may have been sanded down and restamped. On closer inspection I can even see the original "S". The receiver is also two thousandths thinner than my 1903A3. I don't care if someone refinishes, rebarrels, or rebuilds a gun. But when they go to great lengths to counterfeit it...
