Rifle Scopes Trijicon 1-8 - red or green?

Trijicon's warranty sucks. I'm not sure why anyone would buy one when there are plenty of companies that will guarantee their products for life regardless of who owns them.

    Rifle Scopes Trijicon accupower 1-8x28

I think I'm in the same boat as you. I was wanting something in the 1-8 range that would be daylight bright for CQM but I could also crank up for mid range. I've looked at all of the 1-8 optics out there and none so far have been exactly what I am looking for. I settled on a 2.5-10 FFP Vortex...

    Electronic Ear Plugs

I have a pair of the Soundgear Silver that I was able to get my insurance company to cover the cost of. I have Blue Cross and my audiologist sent a claim in to them. They work great, but can be a bit annoying if you are on a range with gravel or other background noise.. They really pick up every...

PSA: SiCo Radius Weapon Mounted Range Finder Over 50% off!

At night I'm using the Kilo on scan mode in conjunction with my PVS-14. I flip down the 14, hold the kilo up to my other eye, and lase the target by seeing the laser with my 14. Then I flip the 14 back up to take my shot. It's a little more of a process but I can nock it out pretty quick.

PSA: SiCo Radius Weapon Mounted Range Finder Over 50% off!

Still not worth it in my opinion. I had one and it was a pain in the ass to try and use plus the zero kept walking when you were shooting or even if you touched the unit. I sold mine and bought a Sig Kilo 2200. It's much easier and faster to use.

Pulling the trigger on a colt 6920 m4 magpul?

Yes. That is lower than some of the dealer costs I have seen. Out of all the AR rifles and components from the manufacturers I have worked with, Colt is the most consistent in high quality.

What are you wearing under your ACU/BDU?

What color tee do you have to wear?

What are you wearing under your ACU/BDU?

Nothing. Seriously, skivvies are a warming layer. In the warm months I don't bother with an undershirt or shorts. When the temp drops I break out merino wool.

    Tripod? Are they worth it

It's one way to get a stable platform if you are shooting anywhere other than arifle range. You can use a few other expediant methods too, like a pack, shooting sticks, a buddy's shoulder. There some lightweight ones out there too.

    14.5" 308 ar

You will need to be spot on with your range estimation and DOPE with a 14.5". We went from 20" barrels down to 14.5" and that was the biggest difference I noticed. 175 SMKs will help you to get out to 1k.

Anyone know of a machine shop good enough to mill down an AR-10 bolt carrier?

I would try a JP Low mass carrier before I went cutting up an existing carrier. JP - Operating System Components If you did find a shop to cut up your carrier you might end up paying more in shop fees that just buying a JP.

    Surefire Mags?

For the most part they are reliable. Out of 15 or so guys issued them only a couple had problems. I have seen failure to feeds mostly when running full auto or when using a suppressor. Seems that the follower cannot always keep up when the gun is cycling faster than a standard carbine length gas...
