    Steyr AUG

There are some sear that can be used on the AUG that Rat Worx makes that are supposed to improve the trigger. There is also a trigger pack that replaces the AUG pack. I don't have either so I cannot attest to their working or not. I'm 6'4" and my AUG fits me fine.

    Vietnam War M1A

The M14 was not issued with any scope or rings, the M21 sniper rifle was but that's a different animal. You can buy a base M1A and find a USGI wood or fiberglass stock and install a Sparrow Hawk dummy selector kit. A flame birch stock is very beautiful if you can find one. Next thing would be...

    PTG bottom metal for Savage

The latch in the pic shows the "T" shaped for easier manipulation, the standard does not have the tabs on each side. Typically this is called the magazine release or magazine catch.

After reading this I am definitely going with someone else, probably CDI. What a crock of sheet and a poor way of doing business. I would dispute the charges with your credit card company. Just explain that they didn't have the item in stock and they led you to believe they did and after you...

dpms sass 308 vs armalite sass 308

I will say that I have the Armalite and the forged receivers appealed to me over the machined receivers of the DPMS. I think the only thing the first generation DPMS has going for it is the magazine availability. The Armalite's mags are steel and are quite sturdy though.

dpms sass 308 vs armalite sass 308

Are you referring to the Gen II DPMS SASS or the original? If you are set on DPMS go with the Gen II. DPMS Gen II info here.

Can you elaborate on the differences between the 10 and the 10 LE? Are these a drop in to fit the factory stocks or is inletting required? Will these fit the models with the bolt release in front of the trigger guard? Please let us know. Thank you.

    PTG bottom metal for Savage

I called Pacific today and attempted to get information from the girls that answer the phones, they need someone with a wee bit more technical expertise about their products answering questions. I asked them specifically is it a drop in for the factory stock, their answer was, "we cannot...

Few questions for anyone with a Lawman Folding Adapter

I assume you are referring to the Law Tactical folding adapter, correct? If so, I would think you would not be able to still use the JPSCS assembly since it looks like the center rod of the JPSCS would need to extend into the center of the bolt carrier. When the bolt carrier cycles back into...

    Sig516 Legality Question.

Check out how to shoot the SIG 516 pistol with the brace at 6:23 (they say it's the 556 but it isn't)... Maybe it's ok to do that in Vegas because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. :)

    Catastrophic Failure

I'd go buy some cerrosafe and make a chamber casting. That'll tell you what it was chambered for assuming you remove the case that is fire-formed into the chamber. Perhaps this is something that you don't want to do. You can get it HERE...

    Slop between upper and lower

Some AR lower manufacturers put a tapped hole in the lower receiver that aligns below the rear takedown pin lug on the upper receiver and you can put a nylon or brass tipped set screw in there to take out the slop. I've also seen others in the upper receiver where it meets up with the ring of...

    PTG bottom metal for Savage

I wonder what the difference is between the regular model 10 and the 10 LE, finish perhaps, one being gloss and the LE being matte? I assume these made from the same materials as their other bottom metal and I wonder if they require inletting to the stocks or are they a drop in? I am also...

    Bell and Carlson Stock Upgrade

Since it has the aluminum insert you probably don't have to bed it, but I would at least bed the recoil lug area. you could skim bed the aluminum block area to mate up with the receiver may help some with accuracy. Someone with more experience with this stock may have a better answer.
