    Savage Rascal Youth Rifle

    Pretty much the same. My son had a Cricket at 3 and got a Rascal this year for his 5th bday. Both are great rifles to learn on IMO. The cricket for trigger pull and learning to use scope. The Rascal for working the bolt. We will probably move up to a magazine fed rifle before the year is up.

    Well, that didn’t change a thing. Basically the rounds are laying flat in the mag so I don’t believe it’s a action issue. After talking to a few other Vudoo owners with the same problem, I ended up filing the lip on the front of the mag at an angle a little and that fixed the issue immediately.
