    At the local gun show here nothing has come down. AR's are still 1300-1500 and ammo if anything went UP in price if you can find it. Mags are 30-45 for metal ones on the lower end to p mags on the high end

    The Leupold 1.25x4 would be in the power range and near the price range(before a mount) to suit your needs.The firedot reticle is also a nice feature and it also shuts off after a period of inactivity and then goes back on with motion saving the battery.

    For my money the DPMS SASS is the best value out there.I have one and love it. shot a 1" group at 200 yards yesterday with it.My next recomendation is glass.For that I would say a Nightforce 2.5x10 would be the way to go.Anything left over buy ammo and practice
