    Is the Leupold custom shop just closed forever or something?

    Just a S.W.A.G. on my part, but maybe Leupold is reconsidering the whole custom shop thing. Vortex seems to just fine saying "nope" to requests for a custom shop. I was hoping Vortex would do the custom thing, but maybe they're having an influence.

    A small victory today in California

    Just finished working up lead free loads for 6cm Ruger Precision Rifle and AR with gain twist barrel. Not a bunch of load data out there and the lead free stuff does some very weird stuff. I'm only sending squirrels to meet their maker. but with the cancellation of competitions, it kinda worked out.

    Having used both types, I'm getting rid of most of my hinged floor plate rifles. DBM is the way to go, especially if you are loading/unloading a lot.

    How far are you guys getting from mag fed 223 AR's?

    I'm curious how far out you guys are getting from mag fed 223's AR's? I am building another one and am looking at a gain twist barrel, but wanna stay mag fed. My current setup is good for about 850 yds. Thanks!
