    Hum, I'm still a bit of a noob but with my old lyman I would have it underthrow then trickle the rest. Time consuming, got SDs of 15 to 20 - going to the Autotrickle V4 with the A&D the SDs are more like 8-12 and way faster (loading 308 and 6.5CM)

    I think the gas tube lenght is a function of your barrel. Generally a longer barrel takes a "rifle" length gas tube but some like a Proof 6.5 AR barrel take a rifle+2 tube - you should check the specs for your barrel manufacturer and/or ping a question off the folks at Brownells...

    I have a couple of glocks I've converted from 40 to 9 with convertion barrels - just a new barrel and new magazines (didn't bother with ejector) and they shoot great - I actually really prefer them, the extra barrel weight seems to help shooting them.

    HaHa - it works :D So ugly and it drips a bit when running but it anneals a .308 LC brass in 4.5 seconds and the copper tube stays cool :)

    I use blast diverters when in California (as apposed to NV or AZ) Surefire, AAC (51T), Silencerco , and OSS (Huxwrx) all make them, I favor the rifles with the OSS and SiCo diverters and for me is seem as though my groups are slightly better than when I'm running the can.

    interesting enough with regard to 308, I have a couple different uppers for my LMT gasser. the LMT upper barrel is 1 in 11.25 The Criterion barrel is 1 in 10. The Criterion is more accurate with the 155s I run through them (both are stainless steel 18" barrels, 155s are going about 2740-2760 fps)
