    Re: Mega Monolithic billet upper rifle length I just got one of their billet uppers with the side charge slot cut out. I put it on top of my RRA lower...made the lower look like a toy. These things are beefy. The detail on the machining is very impressive. I would not hesitate to try this...

    Re: Savage MKII Varmint or CZ 453 Varmint???? Check out the thread by Tom Manners about the stock they are going to make for the CZ. That would be a nice option should you ever want to upgrade the stock to something very similar to a bolt gun.

    Re: should i bet my 22? I bedded a Ruger 10/22 action and the first 2" if the barrel in the new Boyds "Tacticool" stock. I have not finished testing it, but I did not notice any improvements right away. The rifle did shoot pretty well to begin with though.
