    Atlas Bipod

    Mine has some play in the legs. I think it is normal for the Atlas. But as Toast said.. "Trust your gut". If it bothers you then return it. Otherwise use it as the tool it was made to be.

    L.E. Wilson vs Sinclair/Wilson Case Trimmer

    I like the upgrades Sinclair has done. The SS unit, micrometer, and case holder etc.... It looks like Wilson is now doing these upgrades in house as well but I like the micrometer better on the Sinclair. But either one will do the job very well.

    AICS grippy cheek piece DIY.

    I wish I would have seen this yesterday. I just ordered a Victor "grippy" cheek rest last night from Mile High. Looks like this would have worked just as well for a fraction of the cost.

    Who has a watch they like?

    You may want to check out the Tossit T-Touch. Unfortunately a lot of the recommendations above wont do what you are asking as they are mechanical movements. If you want the functions you mentioned your probably going to need a quartz watch. The Tissot could have a better depth rating though...

    Gunsmithing Should I have a gunsmith install my bolt action stock???

    One consideration is the action screw torque specs on the B&C A2. Im not sure what they specify but its probably around 45-60lbs. You may want to invest in a torque driver and check with B&C.

    For $1500 and < I would look to Colt, BCM, and DD. I would also consider buying a factory Noveske upper and building a lower myself for not much more $.

    You might want to look at the Compass Lake Douglas SPR barrel with AMU chamber. I had one done by Frank White and it took about 5 weeks. Im very happy with barrel. Compass Lake Engineering I would not be happy with the accuracy your getting personally

    On my SPR I have a 2.5-10x32. My Recce a 1-4. I would go for the 2.5-10 on your build as it suits the rifle very well.

    I went with the 1" high rings for a 50mm objective and a 20moa Badger base. I kinda wish I would have gone with the low though as there is plenty of room even with BC caps.
