    Savage 338lm 1650,1820 and 2050 yards!!!

    Re: Favorite cartridge for competition? I have been leaning the other way -- toward 7mm, with the 284 Winchester and 180gr Berger. Better in the wind than 260 Remington, but still doesn't beat you up, especially with a suppressor or brake. I'll admit I'm starting to eye the 6mm / 115 DTAC...

    Re: Favorite cartridge for competition? Yeah, the 115 DTAC has a higher BC than the 139gr Scenar AND you can push the DTAC hundreds of FPS faster in a 243 Winchester than the 139gr in 260 Remington.
