    grayboe and h-s are both glued on. To replace the pad or install a spacer system I cut them off and start over. If weight is to be added both stocks have a cavity you can easily add epoxy/lead shot into, then reinstall your new pad/spacer system.

    I havent installed any 419 rails but the Henderson arca is easy enough to install/set up. I wouldnt think the 419 would be much different. They make great stuff.

    If the curve is not too severe and the stock material is thick/tough enough, I would mill a flat on the forearm and bolt the arca rail from the inside.

    Yes, the McMillan lop kit will go on a renegade with no issues because its basically the same as a McMillan a-5. Just constructed differently.

    Arca Rail mounting : HS Precision Stock

    If you use the Henderson precision rail you can bolt right to the aluminum bar that runs through the forearm of the stock. Just drill and tap the holes and you should be good to go. I installed a few like that already. Works great. You can text me at 209 620 5268 for pictures.

    I had a customer with the same issue but with a manners stock. I just bedded the rail to the stock to make up the difference. Worked perfectly.

    H- S and B&C do have a void in the buttstock. But I fill in those spots in before my installation.
