    Some states. Not all. Carrying a loaded rifle in your vehicle in Texas, for example, is perfectly legal. But… If you are to the point of arguing the nuance of “braced pistol” vs rifle, you’ve already lost and are most likely taking the ride.

    Aero barrels are ballistic advantage. I don’t have any problems using their receivers, but the barrels are hit or miss at best. For a budget friendly, turn key solution, I’d look at DD or BCM.

    I’m told that flying brass in a chartered pig hunting helo is a safety hazard and a no go. Everyone hunts with a brass catcher. But, given the hourly rate for a helicopter hog hunt, lost brass I pennies in the grand scheme of things.

    Alternative choice to push-button sling loops on bolt guns?

    After my son inadvertently depressed a QD swivel during a run and gun, and rapidly deployed the rifle into the gravel road bed, I’ve been transitioning from QD swivels to paraclips and footman loops. Those are about as dummy proof as you can get.
