    Necking down .308 brass

Thanks Thebelly. I was actually looking at cartridge diagrams a little while ago and noticed that. I was actually looking at the 6.5cm diagram but it had my wheels turning... maybe I should just by a .308 semi auto of some variety and save the headaches. It is not like there has been a...

    Necking down .308 brass

So you don't even full length size the cases, just the neck? I really don't know what I was thinking but I never thought about the creedmoor... I have been wanting to do a 6CM... It will be a bit of work but this new brass may be just the excuse that I need. Thanks guys

    Ruger Mark III issues

I was actually going to buy one this weekend. LGS was running a sale but when I went there and handled one.... When I released the slide, the magazine would release as well. the first time it happened, I thought maybe the mag wasn't fully seated to begin with. Then it did it again, and...

    Necking down .308 brass

I am assuming that LC brass is too soft. That really sucks because I bet I am about 6:1 LC to everything else I ended up with. I got quite a few that have BHA match headstamps. I am not familiar with them??????

    Necking down .308 brass

I am guessing the best/most efficient way to do this is with a bushing die? Just keep changing the bushings out until the neck is the desired diameter.

I will admit... my google foo is piss poor and I am sure this has been covered before. if someone could point me to a link to some info on how difficult it is to neck down .308 brass I would be much appreciative. This past weekend, I came into a ton of .308 brass. I would guess somewhere...

    6.5x55 Swede users?

I sure wish you hadn't posted that..... That one has been killing me! One other scope you might look into, Warkmeister, is the new Burris XTR II. I have heard good things and since I know someone who knows someone (the local Burris rep)..... Probably going to be trying one of them out...

Maggie’s craigslist ad for jet ski with bonus trolling motor

That is funny as hell! Possibly the baddest jet ski I have ever seen. I would love to see the plans where they installed the "poon magnet" installed

    6.5x55 Swede users?

From talking with this smith, he does a lot of ackley calibers. He had ordered a 25-06AI and a 22-250AI reamer and gauges with mine. He said he was just keeping them for "his shop". I guess there are more wildcaters around here than I realized. I do think a 22-250 AI set up for 90gr...

    6.5x55 Swede users?

If you have trouble coming up with one, just let me know. I have thought about just paying for the whole thing and keeping it for myself, but I don't know if it would be worth the cost.

    6.5x55 Swede users?

That is cool. Wish everyone would do the work right in front of you that way. I will talk to Tooter and see if he would mind parting with the gauge temporarily. I am not much of a salesman but maybe I can talk him into it.

    6.5x55 Swede users?

It is cool with me but the smith I am using is keeping it and the reamer. I paid for half and he paid for half but the deal was, he would keep it when we were done. I don't know if you have someone picked out to do the work, but I have had a good experience with this guy so far. Here is a...

    6.5x55 Swede users?

You Hoarding Bastard!!!! I don't think most of the stores around here have that much in reloading supplies.... In all seriousness, I am jealous as hell, your bunker is awesome! Quick update for me... All my parts have been at the smith for a couple of weeks now. Manners even turned around...

Well so I guess they really are bad.

An AD is nothing to take lightly.... It only takes one to ruin not only your life but many others. You can buy a timney for a little over $100 and in this case, the peace of mind alone for me would be worth it. It would be the best money you ever spent.
