Scope mag range for AR10 in 6.5 cm

Thank you so much for providing that link. I contacted DEON through their website this weekend to confirm my understanding and they did confirm that the information provided at that link is incorrect. The March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM is a very recent design and has been upgraded with the very latest...

Scope mag range for AR10 in 6.5 cm

Well, they are wrong. What a shock. As long as they are listed ate the MarchScopes.com website, they are available. The March-FX 4.5-28X52 is now available with the shuriken locks on the knobs and the ones without these locks are still available.

Scope mag range for AR10 in 6.5 cm

Where did you hear/see that? It's totally false. The March-FX 4.5-28X52 added the shuriken lockable turrets this year.

    Astronomical Telescope suggestions

I have been using my spotting scope for astronomical viewing. For my Kowa 883, I bought this astronomical adapter: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1343086-REG/kowa_tsn_as1_25g_1_25_astro_adapter_for.html And then bought an astro eyepiece, from Baader, the Morpheus 4.5mm. I was able to...

    March 5-42 HM vs Zeiss S3 6-36

You have to put things in perspective. The March-FX 5-42X56 HM has the widest FOV of any riflescope of which I am aware. My numbers show it has having a linear FOV about 20% wider than the Zeiss S3 6-36. I have looked through a March-FX 5-42X56 and I am always astounded by the huge FOV. Of...

Cleaned my lenses, now I think they’re ruined?

About the use of filters. @Convex explains his position very well and as he said, everyone can make their own call. As a long-time photographer, I went through phases when I would have skylight/UV filters on all lenses, and other times when they would all me removed. Currently all my lenses...

Cleaned my lenses, now I think they’re ruined?

I leave the sunshade on my riflescopes at perpetuity. It's just a great way to protect the objective lens from the elements and other surprises. I do remove it for the occasional cleaning with a blower brush as stuff can accumulate. I do not trust a filter on the riflescope as these items are...

    Rifle Scopes March 1.5-15x42 inquiry

So, you're just a negative person; sort of the quintessential Karen. You do not have the riflescope, you have been trying to stir feces up about it and when the manufacturer provides a speedy remedy, you still go negative. Yes, I am a March fan, and this situation is an example of one of the...

Rifle Scopes New March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM WA

I don't hunt so I cannot answer the question from experience. On the other hand, I can't see how the 4.5-28X52 would be a problem in the woods set at low power. Either reticle would work but I am more familiar with the PDK and the PDKI. I have the PDK in my 4.5-28X52. At 4.5X, the tree part...

Help a newbie orient himself in choosing glass for F-class?

I agree with you. The March and other similar high-end high-mag scopes are not cheap. If you're going to spend that kind of money on a riflescope, (the Majesta is $4500), you want to make sure it fits your discipline properly, and as has been stated, F-Class and PRS are not exactly compatible...

Help a newbie orient himself in choosing glass for F-class?

It's a little nearsighted compared to the Majesta. ;)

Help a newbie orient himself in choosing glass for F-class?

There are several excellent riflescopes for F-Class, from March, NF, Sightron, Vortex, Kahles and so on. It's always an SFP scope with a simple reticle, 1/8 MOA clicks and high magnification. In many ways, it's the antithesis of the PRS riflescope. The Majesta that you mentioned is the...

March 4.5 28 and SB 320 owners I need advice

I get what you are saying about a direct comparison. My main point is that I think not properly referencing the riflescopes when they are used in a comparison, is a disservice to the reader. Assuming that everyone is familiar with the objective lens sizes in the scopes compared is misplaced...

March 4.5 28 and SB 320 owners I need advice

Let me see. The USO ER-25 5-25X58 has a 58mm objective. The S&B T96 Polar 3-12X54 has a 54mm objective. The Minox ZP5 5-25X56 has a 56mm objective. The March-FX 4.5-28X52 has a 52mm objective. So you compared the brightness @ 10X in 4 different scopes all with different objective sizes and the...

    Rifle Scopes March 1.5-15x42 inquiry

The March 1.5-15X42 SFP has 6 reticles available: 3 MOA : MTR-3, MTR-4, MTR-5; and 3 MIL: FD-1, FD-2, MML. As you point out, they are all subtending on 10X. I would suggest you contact March through the website, and specify which reticle you would like to see based on 15X. At least tell them...

    Rifle Scopes March 1.5-15x42 inquiry

I find that looking through a riflescope on a tripod is nowhere close to the experience you get when looking through it on a rifle, especially when it's adjusted to fit you. I do a lot of testing and comparisons on a tripod, and I know it is frustrating. I use the tripod to be able to take...

    Rifle Scopes March 1.5-15x42 inquiry

They keep demonstrating that they are very responsive and stand behind their products. They certainly do not give you a runaround and blame you for their problems. In my book, everyone makes mistakes, and I don't blame them for that, as long as they own up to the mistakes and remedy the situation.
