New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
The counter to that is that a non-translating turret is more complicated with additional small parts and gears to drive the actual shaft that moves the erector tube, while remaining at the same position. It is entirely possible that these small parts are more prone to go out of whack (technical...
DEON has just announced they will be showing the March-FX 5-42X56 Gen 2 with writable turrets at SHOW Show 2025 next month. Also, they will be showing 2 new concept scopes: an 8-80X56 SFP Majesta Tracking Scope with a choice of reticles; and a 6-60X56 Genesis Tracking scope with a choice of...
Ok, I'll play also. My favorite riflescope currently is the incomparable March-X 8-80X56 HM WA X Majesta, sitting atop my F-TR rifle. I've had it for about 18 months now and I've always shot it in competition at 80X. Of course, I have the MTR-WFD reticle in it, specifically designed for...
Yeah, I never tried to pass myself off as a sniper, nor do I play one on TV or in movies. Also, sniper movies are mostly crap. I think the funniest one I ever saw was The American with George Clooney (2010, I think.) He was supposed to be a sniper and got a special "sniper rifle" (TM) built...
And while the March scopes come with lockable flip caps included, I prefer to use leather caps (objective and eyepiece). I remove them at the start of a match and slip them back on when I'm finished shooting.
I noticed that Tenebræx accessories are available for the 56mm March riflescopes, which includes this riflescope in question.

I'm quizzical about your flair for encountering flare so much so that it's your no.1 enemy. I would also suggest that you use the sunshade that comes included with March riflescopes. I am a YUGE proponent of sunshades and their principal use, for me, is to protect that huge, expensive...
Yeah, I don't know that that has anything to do with controlling flare. The times when I have had to aim close to the Sun were during late afternoon competitions and I can assure you that I was not at a low magnification where the exit pupil was being further reduced by design. I remember a...
As I understand it, the shuriken turrets are not a straight up replacement for the turrets on the March-X 10-60X56 HM. To have the shuriken turrets on this riflescope would require a change in the way the scope body is machined. DEON did this for the 5-40X56 when they produced a Gen II model...
I understand what you are saying. Your first sentence says it all: "a tree gets in the way in PRS." The FML-WBR was designed specifically for PRS, by a PRS competitor, and installed in a riflescope optimized for PRS (writable turrets, proper zoom range, extra wide angle.)
If you can use the...
