    If this is a brand new rifle, the throat is probably going to change after the first 100 rounds anyways. I push the bullet in until it stops, then remove it and take the measurement. Bullets are seated -.010 under that. Then I shoot that load and adjust in or out as needed for best results.

    Ciao, RTTY I have the RCBS trimmer, but it does not have the universal shellholder. Can you take some pictures of the shellholder for us to look at? Also, the pilot looks too small for the caliber. The case mouth/neck needs to fit very close to the diameter of the pilot.
