Maggie’s Light up this dumb broad's Facebook page!!!

Re: Light up this dumb broad's Facebook page!!! That bitch ain't worth the air I'd expell. Dumbass people and their freedom of speech shit. Don't they know the military is why they still have it? That's freaking ridiculous. Send her ass to Iraq or Afghanistan and see if she still thinks that way.

    Gunsmithing Bedding kits?

Re: Bedding kits? Forget it and get some devcon, kiwi and such as stated above. You'll want some kind of masking type of tape too. Just follow the sticky up top and I bet you'll get good results. I did just as was recommended and followed the sticky on my first job and it turned out...

Gunsmithing new to building rifles and need help

Re: new to building rifles and need help Yep with a remmy you should have it done I'd say! Even with a Savage if you don't understand the process it could be tragic.

Gunsmithing need advice on duracoating parts

Re: need advice on duracoating parts ^^^^^^^ what he said. Then degrease it again! Wear rubber gloves or latex or something when you do this, so the oil from your skin doesn't get on it again and again. It's not difficult. I've even used a scotch bright pad instead of blasting, but blasting...

    Gunsmithing Barreling a Savage Action

Re: Barreling a Savage Action Action screw spacing should be 4.4 or 4.27" depending on "generation" of action. I would also note that a lot of people recommend removing the extractor from the bolt head, which is really easy on a savage, to make sure you don't get a false reading, but checking...

Gunsmithing Fitting Savage Model 10 on HS Precision

Re: Fitting Savage Model 10 on HS Precision Never heard of that one. You might do some Google-fu and see if something comes up, or even use the hide search engine to see what happens. If its a target action then that might explain it, especially if its a 3 screw stock. Good luck, if I find...

    300WM question.....probably a dumb one too!

Re: 300WM question.....probably a dumb one too! I figured I'd start with imr 4831, since that's what I used in my 7mag and I still have some. I really got to find out what twist rate this barrel is. I'll know tomorrow when I get a look at it, since its a used rifle. Hoping maybe it will be...

    300WM question.....probably a dumb one too!

So I've never loaded for the 300 win mag and I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I'm gonna ask anyhow. It simply uses the same 30cal bullet as say a 308, correct? I've got a bunch of bullets and wanna use em for what's gonna be my new hunting rig! Thanks for any help and yes I was to lazy to...

    Rifle Scopes Considering 4 scopes

Re: Considering 4 scopes Never owned, but based on reviews and forum posts alone, I'd scratch A and B off the list! Replace one of them with the weaver scope mentioned above. I've used NIKON before and I agree they are solid as a hunting scope. I've not used one for dialing type situations so...

Rifle Scopes Whats a good budget sco;pe?

Re: Whats a good budget sco;pe? Bushnell, weaver, vortex (my personal choice), millet, swfa (super sniper), etc. For that money and distance he could get a regular viper, but the low end of magnification is kinda high and the top end is way overkill! I'd probably go with the weaver 2-10...

    Rifle Scopes Good starter scope?

Re: Good starter scope? If $500 is your budget then I would strongly suggest the vortex viper (not the pst). It's a sfp scope, but very good glass for the money and a fantastic warranty. If you can go up to the $900 range, then the PST in a ffp would be a better choice. Otherwise I might look...

    i need some ideas

Re: i need some ideas I ordered a short magpul rail and then drilled a couple holes in the stock and mounted it. It worked out perfectly, however, I mounted it on a hogue stock, so who cared if I screwed it up! It worked out well and looked/functioned fine.
