    any suggestions on a good factory ammo that i can use as an all around round? something i can use on anything from texas deer to varmits? the rifle is a kimber varmit. accuracy is most important, but would rather not spend a ton of money per round.

    gonna finally start reloading

    ok so i'm finally gonna get started reloading, i have no idea on what to buy to get going. are there any good starter kits out there that you guys would recommend? i'll be doing it for several different calibers. any help is greatly appreciated.

    Gunsmithing stock oil?

    anyone know of a good oil to rub on matte finished wood stocks? just for periodic protection, not for finishing. i've used tung oil before, just wondering if there is something better.

    Just got him this weekend, it was a fun hunt. Tough, but fun. The best part was that I was able to take him with my old 03A3 that my grandad built and carved the stock himself. Made a spine shot as he was moving up the mountain away from me at about 150 yards. Not bad for 65 year old iron.

    Re: 300 AAC BLACKOUT i can't freaking decide if i want the 9" or the 16". i'm gonna be doing a little of everything with it, hunting, plinking, range fun, etc. it will have a 762SD on it. i guess the 16" makes the most sense for all of that? but that 9" sure does look sweet....
