I’ve started to get in the bad habit of shooting without glasses. In my limited experience I’ve found it easier to see trace without them, but when I’ve shot with glasses it’s been polarized oakleys. I’m always spotting without glasses due to eye relief
I’ll let some of the other guys with more experience answer that one, but there are multiple variables that could cause pressure signs on a moderate charge. With .002” of neck clearance you have .001” on each side which is pretty tight but you could have some spring back also.
Depends on the chamber and spring back, but I’m sure he’s asking to make sure the chamber isn’t too tight and he’s not seeing like .001” difference or the same reading.
Some bench rest guys run very tight on the neck clearance. I neck turn .005” clearance to allow for field match conditions
Had a friend shoot a .357 sig through my .45 p220 west German. Made a real distinct odd noise along with a nice case rupture and stuck slide. I don’t know how that fuckery happened
If you are new to reloading also, the Hornady lrp brass is cheap to learn on if you trash some brass.
Like spife said, srp are like gold right now and lrp are easier to come by if you are just now getting into components.
