    That, or if you have a good mill/drill, you can drive a lead slug to the point in the barrel where you need to drill, and drill into the slug, then drive it out. No burr. But sometimes, burrs matter a lot less than it seems like burrs should matter.

    The biggest problems with the BKL mounts are: 1) they don’t appear particularly refined. 2) they don’t cost enough to make us all feel good about dropping an expensive scope into them to be placed on an expensive rifle. They work pretty well though. -Nate
