    Improperly set parallax and inconsistent head placement. Try to make sure you set your parallax, not by the dial, but by seeing if the reticle moves when your head moves. The single most overlooked issue on stringing.

    Understand...I was addressing pmclaine's concern. I spent three years of my 21 years in the Corps as an USMC Officer Selection Officer. Getting a lawyer (or law student) to make it through OCS was extremely difficult. It was much simpler to mint a lawyer out of a Marine.
