    My timing must have been bad. My last Form 4 was submitted Jan 2021. It was approved thirteen months later in Feb 2022.

    Geissele makes great ones. As does Nightforce. The LaRue mounts are a long-time favorite as well. Just need to figure out the height you want.

    It is available with the DT II + turrets, which are among the best out there. Reticle selection is another matter though.

    The new March 1-10x24 might be worth a look. Daylight bright center dot is SFP, reticle is FFP. Just like the fancy S&B. But smaller and lighter.

    I once had a Pachmayr Dominator. It's a .308 bolt action upper for a 1911. Just a pistol with no paperwork needed. Maybe play with one of those while contemplating. . .
