Rifle Scopes S&B 5-25 or Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27
I had one of the original Razor HD's and also own a S&B PMII, I also got to fondle a pre-production version of the Gen II's but that wasn't for long. AI AT .308 or M40A5 clone which one to buy??
I have an AIAE MKII and an AIAT, I no longer have any Remington 700 customs they just don't compare IMO (admittedly none of my 700 customs were M40 clones or built by GAP or SAC) Neither are going to be a light rifle but you won't be disappointed with and Accuracy International. Having moved the S&B over to the new AIAT a replacement was needed on the AE MKII and with some of the deals to be had on the older 4x Steiner's I jumped on a 4-16x50 Military which turned up today. I have a 24" barrel on my AT, took it out to 1350 yards yesterday and went 12 from 16 on an IDPA torso target, I do plan on getting a .260 barrel for it to though. Really comes down to what you want but I like having the extra velocity- SNAFU308

What aftermarket Option would you Prefer on your AI AW/AE/AT?

Well I managed to get to the range this afternoon after moving the S&B over to the AT to zero and test some hand loads. I used some left over 155gr match ammo after bore sighting the rifle to get it on paper. I then swapped over to my hand loads and started with some pressure check loads...- SNAFU308

Just checked up the parts list and there is indeed a 9 round mag, mine fits 10 but it's a very tight squeeze so much so I doubt I will load 10 rounds into it. Wonder why mine shipped with a 9 round rather than a 10 round magazine- SNAFU308

As per the pic the new mag that came with my AT is shorter than the other double stack AI mags I have so it's not in higher or anything it's just shorter. I have confirmed it does take 10 rounds. Though not as easily as the older longer mags- SNAFU308
