    Have you tried v Seven??? It's ar10/SR25 style matching set. V Seven Weapon System I wish they made the ar10/sr25 with the Li Aluminum... I believe Sport South now carries Larue's Stuff. I'm not sure if sport south carries just the larue upper in 308... but that was cheaper than building it...

    Some other obvious things...Did you check the glass to the rings are tight...The mount to the receiver? Different glass to rule out the NF is not an issue? IS the barrel fully free floating? Nothing touching the barrel?

    Optic choices for $3500 and less?

    Have you looked at a zeiss s3 4-25x50? You can get one for around $1800 which means a lot more $ spent on ammo or other things? I use Mine for .22 @ 50feet, and my 6.5 @ 1k distances with no problem.
