    Is there a better precision QD mount than the Thunderbeast CB2?

    I dont get it. Why spend a bunch of money on hub mounts and muzzle devices when you can just direct thread them on usually without blowing $300 on a muzzle device and compatible hub mount.

    Most of my guns are weight conscious and I dont like wasting money. So to me, additional muzzle devices that cost money and add weight is the lesser choice. That is on bolt guns. I'm not well versed on semi-autos and any related retention concerns.

    I see only 33 cal brakes. I'm pretty sure the last one I bought said 30 cal. Are you only offering 33 cal now or are they the same and you're naming them differently?

    How long is too long for a bolt gun barrel and suppressor?

    On a serious note, it seems like a bullet design is a way bigger factor because its only going to do so much in the first few inches regardless of how much energy it's carrying. What bullets are you shooting?

    6.5 CM Ammo

    Norma golden target 130s are it for me for practice ammo. They shoot tight, SD/ES isn't great but for $1.1 ea they do good. Factory tikka ctr tube at 100 yds.

    Makes it tough to keep it above the required 1200 ft/lb of energy required to RTD a groundhog then which is a bummer.

I’m over shooting with brakes and have always been a big fan of the 6.5x47 but would like a hair less recoil if similar ballistics are achievable.     which 6 to choose?

    My main hunting rifle is an 18" 6 creed because i wanted the velocity to make up for shorter barrel with 105-112 class pills, factory ammo, and mag feeding without hiccups. I'd have a hard time not going BR, BRA, dasher, or GT depending on platform and mag setup if I was capping it at 350 yards...
