A short bit of range work & chronograph today... Reasons like this make me understand the cost of a premium barrel & appreciate a great smith. Extreme spread over 100 fps on 10 shots.. See if you can guess which 3 shots were 100fps more than the other 7.. On the other hand, that 7 shot group...- Bob L Swagger

Old Winchester Model 70 rebuild?
Definitely worth the effort... I have one that I've had for many years, just recently shown some attention to it. I plan to shoot the piss out of it, lap the lugs and re-barrel once its kaput. Not really sure which caliber I'm going to settle on, .22-250AI, .243AI, 6 Dasher, .308AI, dunno...- Bob L Swagger

Gunsmithing Bedding Mini Chassis
Some smiths bed the tang area of the mini chassis... A friend of mine has a rifle built by Jon Beanland in a mini chassi & this was done. The rifle is a 6.5x47L & it shoots in the .1's.- Bob L Swagger
